At a point of growth, they are looking for a highly motivated Account Executive who possesses excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to achieve and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Working cross functionally with subject matter experts from the team which includes research staff, experienced municipal practitioners, engineers and programmers.
  • Driving a full sales cycle within the customer base – achieving or overachieving on your sales targets.
  • Managing and growing your territory and maximizing revenue, while building future sales pipelines.
  • Produce recommendations based on customer pain points – educating customers on industry trends and best practices while taking into consideration the financial and strategic realities of the customer.
  • Negotiate proposals, contracts and charters that are consistent with existing business operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2-5+ years of sales experience, selling a solution (preferably to local governments, utilities, conservation & parks, or colleges & universities).
  • Experience identifying new business opportunities, a minimum of 70% in current role.
  • Track record of success meeting or exceeding quota for the last 2 years (2022 and 2023, or 2023 and 2024 YTD).
  • Must be located in Northern California.
