Our client is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Sales Director – Senior Sales Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a sales strategy that aligns with the company’s overall business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Establish clear sales targets and objectives for the sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to achieve their sales targets and improve performance. Ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed. Hands-on, participating in selling as needed. Monitor and evaluate the performance of the sales team, providing regular feedback and coaching.
  • Streamline and improve the sales process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring that leads are properly managed and converted into sales.
  • Ensure the sales team effectively uses CRM tools to track customer interactions, manage leads, and forecast sales.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure contracts and close deals on favourable terms.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree: Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
  • Sales Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in sales, 5+ years in a leadership role, such as a Sales Manager or similar position. (Auto & Aerospace, Electronics, Power Generation, Energy, HVAC, etc.)
  • Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing sales strategies, forecasting, and planning to drive business growth.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a sales team to achieve targets and improve performance.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Proficiency in creating and implementing sales strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Negotiation: Strong negotiation skills for closing deals and managing deals.
